It is one minute’s walk from restaurants, three minutes by car from supermarkets, five minutes from Lorient beach, eight minutes from Saint-Jean beach, ten minutes from Saline beach and Saint-Barthélemy-Rémy-de-Haenen airport, fifteen minutes from Gustavia and sixteen minutes from Gouverneur beach.

Named after and inspired by the famous explorer James Cook, the villa is decorated with documents, maps and furniture detailing his expeditions. The living room, dining room and kitchen offer a view of the lush tropical environment, the ocean and the hills and direct access to the patio. Located on the upper level, the air-conditioned living room is open to the dining room and the kitchen. It is spacious, with 110 m² of living space and high ceilings. It features several sofas and 2 off-white armchairs with white cushions and black and white palm trees, an aged dark brown coffee table with beige squares and a high-definition flat-screen TV with American satellite, Dish Network and CD/DVD player. The interior dining room is open to the living room. It has a dark wooden table for eight people. The modern, air-conditioned kitchen is bright and open to the lounge and dining room and is well equipped with a breakfast bar for four people.

All four rooms are air-conditioned, each with en suite facilities, and three of them also have a sitting area. They are completely independent from each other and enjoy a great deal of privacy. The master bedroom entitled “Captain” has a view of the garden and the hills. It is located next to the large room with sitting room, dining room and kitchen and consists of a king size bed with white and light brown cushions, two dark brown bedside tables with white driftwood lamps, a dark brown wooden desk with a black chair. The marble bathroom is sky blue with dark blue veins. It includes an oval vanity unit, a shower and a separate toilet. The second bedroom named “Bali” is on the lower level, with a view of the swimming pool. It has a king size bed with white and light brown cushions, two bedside tables with white wooden lamps and a sitting area with a flat screen high definition television with CD/DVD player. The dark brown marble bathroom with slightly black and red veins has an oval vanity unit, a shower and toilet. The third bedroom “Bora Bora” is located on the lower level, with a view of the garden and the swimming pool. It is composed of a king size bed with white and light brown cushions, two bedside tables with taupe grey driftwood lamps, a dark brown wooden desk with a black chair and a sitting area with a flat screen high definition television with a CD/DVD player. The bathroom is light brown in marble with slightly black and beige veins. It offers an oval vanity unit, a shower and toilet. The fourth bedroom entitled “Tahiti” is on the lower level, with a view of the garden and the swimming pool. It includes a king size bed with white and light brown cushions, two dark brown bedside tables with black wooden lamps, a sitting area with a flat screen high definition television and a CD/DVD player. The salmon marble bathroom also has light grey veins, an oval vanity unit, a shower and toilet.

Situated on the lower level and overlooking the lush tropical environment, ocean and hills, the patio is spacious with seven sun loungers around the superb long heated pool with steps and countercurrent system. You will also find a heated Jacuzzi with eight seats. It is a very pleasant and friendly space.

Villa Cooke also provides a covered gazebo with an oval table in light brown and slightly grey marble and chairs, then a gas barbecue and WIFI.
