Overview

Immersed in a Private Game Reserve which spreads over more than 28 000 hectares of protected wildlife land in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Finta Lodge occupies a dramatic location overlooking the impressive Leopard Rock. The rocky cliffside position ensures guests feel totally immersed in the surroundings being close to the reserve’s abundant birdlife and the wildlife roaming below.

Boasting seven ecosystems and an extraordinary range of wildlife, this are is considered one of Africa’s most diverse wilderness areas.

The interior features an earthy, soft grey palette and solid wooden shutters and doors.

The guest areas have a very relaxed, yet glamourous style abounding in beautiful decorative details. The living area has a fireplace and comfortable sofas, while the dining room has an intimate feel and gorgeous lighting. Large French doors open onto an extensive outdoor veranda, the ideal spot for al fresco meals, while the rooftop terrace provides the ultimate venue for dining under the stars.

Each of the six suites boasts impressive views of the valley, a simple design perfectly integrating with the surrounding nature and a viewing deck where guests can relax and take in the scenery. What’s more each of them has a private plunge pool for another touch of pampering, an en-suite bathroom with a bath tub encased in wide windows overlooking the awe inspiring valley and three of them have outdoor shower.
