Located close to the beach in Seminyak, this six-bedroom luxury villa is the perfect retreat for family and friends to enjoy this Javanese plantation house. Constructed by architect Ross Franklin, this villa is a seamless blend of a traditional plantation house, combined with the Black and White House in Singapore.

In its heyday in the 19^th Century, “Huis Tjitrap” in Java was a place where many visitors enjoyed the famous hospitality of Majoor Jantje. In the surroundings of Citeureup, south of Jakarta, the house was well known for its beauty and its social gatherings.

From the glittering pool surrounded by a wooden decked terrace and more than one outdoor lounge area, perfect to gain reprieve from the Balinese sunshine and relax with friends, this villa is a tropical home away from home, with an inviting feel, and magnificent lush green gardens.

Featuring an airy, bright and spacious layout, each room has been well appointed and styled for maximum impact. With a neutral colour scheme throughout, with bright accents of colour to add depth, the many living areas have comfortable sofas and furnishings, whilst the contemporary kitchen is adjacent to the elegant dining area and seating area. With vast floor-to-ceiling windows in almost each room, allowing an abundance of light to flood through, and maximising the view of the gardens.

Each bedroom is comprised of a large double bed, and an en-suite bathroom, with some having stunning outdoor access/partial walls, to bring the outside in and ensure guests feel at one with nature. With sumptuous soft furnishings, splashes of colour and deluxe bed linens, guests can relax in style, and enjoy the views overlooking the gardens before retiring for the evening for a good nights’ sleep.
