The spacious living/dining area opens out onto the main pool terrace, but also features the intriguing yet playful design element of having a pool above. Featuring a plexiglass floor, this extraordinary perspective offers an unmistakable feeling of calm and the light filters through the pool above to create exquisite patterns below, inviting a aura of relaxation and serenity and creating a mesmerizing display. With vast floor-to-ceiling windows, an abundance of natural light floods the space, and highlights the stunning views outside, offering a perfect entertaining space for family dinners or social events.
The master suite takes pride of place on the top floor, with a 23 sq. m private plunge pool on the terrace, with the aforementioned transparent floor, and decadent marble features in the en-suite bathroom. Designed by renowned French artist Jean-François Fourtou, the sculpture park and villa interiors feature large-scale architectural constructions along with life-size animal sculptures. Visitors will delight in orangutans swinging through the living room, tortoises clinging to ceilings, and giraffes peering around doorways.
The spacious grounds boast a large swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers, an outdoor sitting area, and shady day beds, perfect for relaxing with a good book or enjoying a poolside cocktail. There are various courtyards and terraces throughout, offering an array of spaces to socialize with family and friends, along with an olive hedge maze, swing set and ping pong table to keep younger guests entertained.
Fitness enthusiasts can make use of the private running track, tennis court, and yoga and Tai-Chi areas, along with the fully-equipped gym. Post-workout, the traditional hammam and spa treatment rooms provide the perfect spaces to relax weary muscles.
Gourmet meals of authentic Moroccan and international cuisine are created using organic, fresh produce from the property’s gardens and the talented chefs cater to a range of dietary requirements. Guests can delight in an enchanting meal under the Tree of 1000 candles, enjoy an elegant dinner party in the cosy Caidal tent, experience a starlit meal on the Astronomic Terrace, or embrace their inner child with a feast in the Giant’s House.
Indoors, there is a spacious and bright living room with comfortable lounges surrounding a fireplace, and watched over by playful, hanging orangutans. The adjoining dining room – home to a friendly giraffe – is perfect for relaxed and informal meals. To keep everyone entertained indoors, there is a library with an extensive book collection along with a large satellite TV, and a cinema room with a wide range of DVDs to enjoy.
There are six suites, one junior suite and two bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 17 guests (though the property can accommodate 20 total), all featuring unique and creative designs – guests will be hard-pressed to choose their favourite! All bedrooms and suites have en-suite facilities with monsoon showers, some with the added luxury of spacious plunge baths, whilst the Giraffe Suite boasts a freestanding outdoor bath.
